Kitesurf Dakhla: a tailor-made wingfoil, kitesurf, and surf experience
Salty Joy is a mobile school for kitesurfing, wingfoil, and surfing in Dakhla. Our school lets you discover kitesurfing in Dakhla in every possible way: lessons on the Dakhla lagoon, advanced training courses, kitesurf equipment rental, and adventures on the best kitesurfing spots in Dakhla with experienced coaches. Every morning, Salty Joy picks you up at your hotel to give you a unique experience on a location adapted to the conditions (wind, tides, waves). On site, a personalized briefing makes every kitesurf or wingfoil lesson a true moment of progress, whether you are in a training course or starting a surf camp.
Lunch is organized according to your wishes: picnic on the spot, meal at the hotel, or in a local restaurant, always in a friendly atmosphere.
In the afternoon, a second 2-hour session is scheduled. At the end of the day, we conduct a debrief to review the highlights of the experience. We then take you back to your hotel and plan the next day together. Each day, your progress is analyzed to ensure a precise and high-quality debrief.

Younes Beghdadi and Léa Galinier, founders of Salty Joy, form the core team of the kitesurf and wingfoil school in Dakhla. Younes, IKO Level 3 instructor specialized in kitesurfing and a native of the desert, shares all the secrets of Moroccan kitesurfing and the best kitesurfing spots in Dakhla, from one-on-one coaching to discovering Moroccan traditions. Léa, passionate and highly qualified, supports you in every kitesurf or surf session with attention and professionalism, making Salty Joy your reference surf camp in Dakhla. Together, they provide tailored coaching and ensure your progress through every course, lesson, or equipment rental.

Kitesurfing always involves some degree of risk. However, with proper learning and supervised sessions at the school, the risk remains very limited.
Liability insurance is mandatory for kitesurf and wingfoil lessons.
Prices are decreasing depending on the number of sessions booked.
For kitesurf and wingfoil lessons on an individual basis, we recommend children be over 12. The instructor may accept or refuse children younger than 12.
We recommend bringing: - A water bottle - Sunglasses with a cord - Sun cream - Suit - Towel Don’t forget to have up-to-date liability insurance for kitesurfing or wingfoil. We provide the rest: - Wetsuit (though it’s better to have your own) - Harness - Booties - Vest - Helmet with radio - All navigation equipment
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes in advance.
You can rent equipment and/or request supervised navigation during the school’s time slots.
Yes, that’s possible, depending on your level and the spot. If you want to take lessons with your own equipment, a 10% discount may be offered.
Confirmation or cancellation messages are sent between 6pm and 9pm the day before your lesson. Don’t worry if it comes late; we always try to ensure conditions are ideal.

You can reschedule a lesson up to 48 hours in advance by contacting +212662775883 with your new preferred date.
A deposit may be required if the reservation was made online. The rest is paid at the end of your stay, by card or in cash (dirhams or euros).
If you want to cancel, it’s possible within a period of 14 days after booking.
